Special Weekend

This is suppose to be a special weekend. Saturday has been designated Open that Bottle Day. Two well known wine authors have challenged everyone to open that bottle of wine that you are saving for a special day on Saturday. They say if we don’t just open it, it will never get open. They say the more you wait to open it, the more special the event has to become. They ask everyone to have a gathering and invite friends over to share the bottle.

Zach has a bottle Ann brought back from Italy down in his bedroom. Should taste like vinegar by now, but I guess we can open that. I also have two already opened bottles in the garage frig with Anita’s name on it, just waiting till she comes and visits.

So it looks like I will have to go buy a new bottle for Saturday in order to be able to open one. And then, am I really celebrating the authors’ intent?????
