5W's

Good news stories cover what is known as the 5 W's
Who? - Who is the story about? Give as many details about the person(s) as you can.
What? - What is happening that is interesting? Tell as many details as you can about the event.....
When? - Be sure to include the date in your article. Include whether it is night time, what season, etc.
Where? -Tell where the event or story takes place. Is it a city? where? Is it in a rural setting?
Why?- Why is this event happening? Did someone do something to cause it? What is being done about this situation?

Use your electronic notebook inside a new POD to take notes as you read from the sources given. Then use those notes to write your own version of the "News Story".
